Mindfulness For Individuals

Mindfulness Courses

I run tailored Mindfulness courses and sessions to teach mindfulness tools and techniques - learning about the breath, creative writing, mindful eating and the power of gratitude.

You will easily be able to fit the techniques I teach into your daily schedule – no matter how busy you are. To re-programme the mind, we need to begin with small steps because if something is easy, we are more likely to do it. The aim being to start with 5 minutes of mindfulness every day, five separate minutes a day.

I’ll teach you how to:

1.     Concentrate on the moment without thinking about the past or worrying about the future

2.    Focus on your thoughts, feelings and surroundings, without judging what pops into your mind

3.    Reduce stress and anxiety

4.    Think more creatively

5.    Be more open to change

And even small changes can create huge, positive impact!

Discovery session

One complimentary 1-2-1 discovery session is open to anyone who wants to get an idea of what it’s like to incorporate Mindfulness into your life. During our 20-minute session we’ll explore where you are and what you are looking for.

You’ll get a good idea of what it’s like to work with me, and it gives me chance to understand you a little better too. You can ask any questions you might have about Mindfulness, or about me, then decide if you’d like to go ahead. There’s no hard sell – I only work with people who really want to work with me.

Discovery sessions take place by phone or Zoom and can be booked online.

Mindfulness For Groups

Mindfulness is about self-care and giving yourself head space, so it’s a fair question to ask how it works within a group. As well as individual sessions I also run group mindfulness courses for up to 10 people to teach the principles, tools and techniques involved in Mindfulness. We use the group sessions to learn and practise these skills and to discuss how to embed these new skills into our daily lives. Mindfulness is most effective when it becomes part of your routine, so we use the sessions to share what works and to hold each other accountable for making the time to practise your Mindfulness.

I run tailored 6-week Mindfulness courses to groups of up to 10 people. We have four weeks of guided tuition about mindfulness tools and techniques - learning about the breath, creative writing, mindful eating and the power of gratitude. For the last two weeks of the course we get back together to discuss what works, what challenges the participants have faced and how they have overcome them - sharing and learning as a group in a safe environment.

I am currently offering a special group offer with a discount for the group organiser. For the same cost as a class at the gym to improve your physical health, I am offering the opportunity to build your emotional resilience and improve your mental health. For only £10 per person, per session, I offer a 6 week Mindfulness course delivered via Zoom to a group of 10 people. [Costs vary depending on the number of participants - please get in touch to discuss this offer and the discount available to the organiser].

Let’s talk!

Please get in touch or head over to my online calendar to book a complimentary discovery session so you can find out more about mindfulness and how it could be of benefit to you.

I thought I was already fairly self-aware but the separate focus of music, eating, creativity and writing lead me in new directions. I really looked forward to each session and was excited to know what would happen in each session.

Kish Modasia radiates calm and positive energy, even down the lens of a webcam! A small group of us spent half an hour learning how to breathe mindfully and to be grateful. As a result of my mindfulness webinar with Kish, I reflect daily on the wonder of nature, the glorious birdsong and the sunshine reflecting on the river as I cycle over the bridge to work. For all this, and more, I am grateful, after all, ‘gratitude is the new attitude’. Since Kish’s webinar, I have made a few small changes, which have had a big impact. If you are looking to re-balance your inner calm, look no further than Kish Modasia and Lead Your Life!
